Jim and his wife, Mary live in Manhattan, New York. He is an active member of the John S. Burke scholarship foundation which gives well deserving but underprivileged children the opportunity to go to private preparatory high school.

Jim is an avid runner and enjoys competing in triathlons. He has also recently taken up water skiing and simply cannot do it often enough.
